i took 1mg xanax (alprazolam) for the first time. i didn't sleep right after taking it. now it's been more than 24 hours and my head is still spinning.

Benzodiazepines: effect people differently. Xanax (alprazolam) would not be my first choice for asleep aid. Was it prescribed for you or did you self medicate? See and consult with your doctor for appropriate recommendations.
