Go see ur Family Doc: Tell your Family Doc what you've noted above and get referral to Psychiatrist. Your Remeron (mirtazapine) dose is maximized for Family Docs to prescribe but your Psychiatrist can discuss other options eg even more Remeron (mirtazapine), change to completely different antidepressant or add 2nd drug to Remeron (mirtazapine). Valium is a highly addictive drug so best to avoid if possible. Many antidepressants also have anxiolytic properties
