Work w/ specialist: His autism doctor needs to be involved w/ the GI one. This is a fairly common symptom that can become a like a behavioral tic. So much depends on the specific person that it's hard to predict success, but it can be modified for some. The duration may make it harder, but have hope for a good behavior therapist!
