Menopause Is Forever: In natural menopause the ovaries are permanently no longer producing both estrogen (estradiol) and progesterone. If your ovaries were removed during your hysterectomy, then you are also permanently in menopause. Every cell in a woman's body has estrogen and Progesterone receptors, not just the reproductive system, so the entire body suffers once in menopause. Cyclic bhrt can help.
