Try nystatin?: Presumably you are being treated with fluconazole orally for vaginal yeast infections. Most are caused by Candida albicans, but about 10-15% are C. glabrata, which often is resistant to fluconazole and other "azole" drugs. Ask your doctor to first confirm that yeast is indeed the cause of your symptoms; and if so, to consider an alternate treatment, such as nystatin vaginally. Good luck!
