A member asked:

Do u cycle some hormonally after menopause? have noticed my moods are cycling about every 4 weeks .i m 5 yrs.postmenopause...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Your ovaries do still produce some hormones and these levels wax and wane, which may give you the sensation of cycling. In addition seratonin levels from your brain may also wax and wane leading to mood swings. Low seratonin may create depression symptoms and anger.
