Occlusal Guard ?: Is that what you are asking about? If yes, there is a world of difference between an OTC night guard and a custom made, custom fit, and custom adjusted appliance. Save your 30 dollars and apply it to the professional product. You'll be glad you did.

See your PCP: Any headache must be viewed as a valid medical disorder and the headache assessment must be comprehensive. See your PCP for evaluation, tests, imaging and treatment options.

Yes: Setting aside the question as to whether Occlusal Orthotic therapy is appropriate for your problem, know that OTC bite splints can cause more problems than they "cure." There are many good reasons for custom-made appliances. That said, if your occlusion/muscle balance/skeletal balance is not problematic, Occlusal Orthotic Therapy may not be the treatment of choice. Avoid short cuts.
