Headache: It is important to describe whether the pain is on one side of the head or the other, whether it is throbbing or constant, whether it comes and goes and whether it is associated with nausea or other symptoms. Constant pain at the back of the head sounds more like muscle tension. A vascular headache would be throbbing and intermittent. You may need X-rays of your spine and brain scan.
