Can stress cause things such as reflux, post nasal drip, ultimately leading to constant fluid in the ear. have allergies but this never has happened.

Yes: Stress can exacerbate symptoms of gastritis/reflux, both due to physiologic response and daily changes in diet/routine. Reflux can exacerbate nasal inflammation especially if already present from allergy. If the gastritis is not controlled by your Nexium, (esomeprazole) let your doctor know because (even in the context of stress) an endoscopy may be warranted. Work with an Allergist for better allergy control.
