Mild trauma: I suspect the sound was caused by dislodging a scap or mild trauma to excessively dry or infected nasal mucosa. The sound was probably amplified for you? Did the doctor even hear it? Since the bleeding resolved, would not give it another thought, except that there may be strategies to improve overall health of the nasal mucosa.
