Hives?: Hard to know what this may be without examining the rash and getting more background information. The statement that they disappear and then return is suggestive of hives (see picture). Try an antihistamine such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine). If it helps, you can try 20mg cetirizine once or twice a day (assuming no contraindications) until they disappear. If they do not, seek help of Allergist or Dermatologist.
