Dvt: Usually a dvt presents as swelling of te cal for thigh bigger than the other leg. A positive Hoffman sign, contract the calf causing pain, and risk factors of prolonged immobility, trauma, post -op surgical, or risk of turbulent blood flow like aneurysm, verifies veins, severe peripheral vascular disease. If this is the case get an Ultrasound and see.
