How to get an fever after got an appendectomy 2 weeks ago ? ( i'm just curious)

Appendiceal abscess: Depending on the state of the appendix at the time of appendectomy various problems can arise post surgry. If marked inflammation present a collection can develop post surgery defined by CAT and CBC. If difficult stump left then stump leak or blowout can occur leading to fever. Define dause and see if antibiotics needed.

Post-op infection: May have deep wound infection or peri-cecal abscess. Possible UTI if had a catheter. See your surgeon immediately
