Get evaluated: Fevers after surgery are concerning. Your case sounds like it was complex and technically challenging. Call or go into your surgeon for an evaluation. That doctor knows the most about your case. You carry some risk for abcess.

Call/See Your Doc: You don't mention how long ago your procedure was, but if it was within 1-2 weeks, you should call your doc asap. Possibilities include abcesses, bowel leakage, or ileus (abnormal bowel function). Right lower quadrant pain with fever & n/v is never a good combination. Go to the er if your symptoms worsen.
