Maybe, can't tell...: Certainly malaria could do this. If you were in a malarious region, and especially if you didn't consistently take preventive treatment, then for sure get care ASAP. There are plenty of other potential causes besides malaria, so don't try to treat yourself. See your doctor; or maybe discuss referal to an infectious disease specialist if your doc isn't up to speed on tropical infections.
