Recently went to a malaria area (3days ago), have on and off fever, chills, sore throat and fatigue, should i wait to see if it passes or consult a dr?

DETAILS????: How long were you there? Did you take prophylactic med??? Did you protect yourself from mosquitoes? From the time of innoculation of malaria by a mosquito to the time of first fever is 1 1/2 to 3 weeks. Yes, of course you should see a Dr.
