Inflammation: This is an inflammatory condition affecting the Eye muscles . Symptoms include eye pain, redness, difficulty with Eye movements, double vision, Eyelid swelling, and bulging of the eyes. This commonly affects women. The treatment is usually oral or systemic steroids. I hope she feels better better soon!
