My perineum is swollen, and painful to the touch. for 3 days now. it's not the 1st time probably the 3rd time and comes like every 6 months. help pls. what could it be? how do i treat it from home?

Don't irritate area: The simplest thing you could do is to not irritate the area any further. That means don't scratch the perineum and wear loose fitting undergarments like cotton underwear. This will require a little bit of will power but you will thank yourself later. You could also cut your finger nails just in case to prevent anymore irritation.
If this does not work than you could seek further medical help.
