Iron deficiency: What is your age 35 or 67? It matters very much. Iron deficiency in a post-menopausal female warrants excluding a hidden cause of bleeding, such as in the intestine. It is imperative that you see your doctor for an in-person evaluation and a colonoscopy may be warranted.
