Gastroenteritis: This sounds like it may be a viral infection of your GI tract. These are generally self-limiting and will resolve within 3-5 days. Stay hydrated, eat bland foods, rest when necessary. If it gets worse, you cannot hold things down, it persists beyond the next few days without improvement, or you develop new symptoms, go and see a doctor. Good luck and I hope you are better soon.

GASTROENTERITIS : Acute onset of symptoms is most consistent with gastroenteritis. You need to rest , fast for 8-12 hrs then clear liquids as tolerated. You need full exam and lab screen to rule out infection. If symptoms persist abdominal US or CT to rule out appendicitis. If it is vital it will resolve in 24-72 hrs. If fever or pain worsens seek ER eval.
