Any age: we most commonly see men start to have erectile issues later in life 55-60+. The most common cause is actually the effect of chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and atherosclerosis. Erectile issues in young men are most often psychogenic ("performance" anxiety), induced by drugs and alcohol, or by medications. A detailed interview and exam would be needed to determine exactly why.
