Yes: While there are many reasons why men get erectile dysfunction, when i see men in their late teens and 20s have erectile dysfunction, there is often a psychological component to it. Drugs such as anti-depressants, use of illicit drugs such as pot, alcohol abuse, as well as chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure can all contribute to erectile dysfunction at this age.

Agreed utterly, but the detrimental effect of overindulgence & obsession has contributely greatly to many young men's situational ED, which can be easily reversed by modifying and asserting lifestyle to gain energy & ability + adjusting the balance between reality and expectation. Unfortunately, people including many professionals ignore this fundamental part of life but succumbing to drug....

Erectile dysfunction: Diabetes & sickle cell anemia are two conditions that come to mind when considering erectile dysfunction in young men. Smoking is still high on list along w/use of illicit agents. Stress from performance anxiety is more likely to cause ED than is work, money & family, unless latter doesn't like your choice of partner(s).

Yes: Erectile dysfunction is a normal process of aging. The incidence begins to rise when a man enter his 30's and 40's. The degree of severity that a patient experiencses is variable. The severity depends on the overall health of the patient, medications taken, exercising, other other comorbidites such as diabetes and hypertension.
