Fluid filled cyst: in the breast can definitely resolve on its own over time. Avoiding caffeine is often recommended to facilitate resolution of a cyst, but is not always necessary. If it does not resolve, it can be aspirated (fluid drawn out with a needle) but this is not necessary unless it is very painful or infected. Warm compresses and or NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen) may relieve any related discomfort.
