Regular amount: Should have your vit d level tested most prenatal vitamins do not have all that much vit d in them i usually recommend for most people 1000iu of vit d/25# body wt per day i am an orthopedic surgeon so please discuss with your ob-gyn doc but I do not see having a good vit d level as any kind of a problem only a good thing for you and the baby.
