?cervical stenosis: If you have a congenital narrowing of the spinal canal, the jostling of running could irritate the spinal cord and cause what is called, a Lhermitte's phenomenon. This can also occur with low vitamin B-12 levels, and inflammation, such as multiple sclerosis. MRI of neck should answer these concerns.
