Internal shingles: Hello. Yes you can. Shingles on the internal organs can cause flu-like symptoms as headaches, chills, body aches, nausea and fever. Internal shingles however are rare More advanced signs include painful swelling of the lymph nodes and mouth blisters. Brain swelling is rare.
