Could be: The swelling and itching around the opening of your vagina could be due to a soap, lubricant, condom, etc. that you have used and are sensitive to ( a kind of allergic reaction) or you could have a yeast infection. If it is a sensitivity, you risk making it worse if you use a yeast cream or suppository. Your PCP or GYN can give you an oral medicine to try.

Birth control/GYN: It sounds like it is time for you to go to your GYN for an exam and definitive BC. Irritation of the opening is common after the first several sexual penetration. I advise getting checked, abstaining, always make sure you are lubricated and pay attention to sexual position. First, - make sure that you are not infected.
