Infection is : possible, and should be checked by her doctor. In the event of no infection, using an lubricant if dryness is noted to avoid pain and problems, an vegetable oil based lubricant, such as olive oil is a good choice. Also insure adequate fore play to allow for natural lubrication is very helpful.
