A member asked:

I've been diagnosed with anemia, last cbc show hemoglobin of 7 & hematocrit of 23. today my ankles and feet are very swollen. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anemia and: swelling of your feet and ankles probably not related. Swelling could be due to right heart failure or venous insufficiency or orthostatic edema or blood clot in the legs or liver and kidney disease. See your doctor.
