A member asked:

I have ehlers danlos. my last thorax ct show ascending aorta of 2.8cm, descending of 1.8cm. not seen in heart mr from last year. worrying?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: There are 6 forms of Ehlers Danlos & only Type IV causes the vascular complications. Your ascending and descending aorta sizes are normal. At your age (42), they wouldn't be if you had Type IV. You have nothing to worry about.
