What does "cbcad" mean when it comes to lab work?

CBC with diff: Ad means "automated differential" count. The machine evaluates maybe 100 white cells and types them. A physician concerned about white cells and that there may be abnormally-shaped ones will often come down and look, or at least ask the lab to do this.
