Possible, BUT....: The numbers shold be rising rather than lowering as the pregnancy progresses so be sure to follow-up asap with your Dr. to get an examination and a more definitive answer as to the condition of any possible pregnancy. God bless, best wishes to you.

Not normal pregnancy: If your hCG level has dropped from 120 to 5, you don't have a normal pregnancy. It sounds like a miscarriage has occurred. Depending on the lab, levels below 5 are considered to be negative-meaning not pregnant anymore. If your levels are checked in about 48 hrs to 1 wk, they should be in the non-pregnant range.
