Minor concussion: A generalized headache after trauma to the head suggests a concussion. If this is the only symptom it would be classified as "minor" traumatic brain injury(TBI). The headache should resolve within a week. TBI is due to a more severe concussion and may cause loss of consciousness, confusion,difficulty remembering, dizziness. I hit my head on a ceramic sink near the mastoid area. A week after I went to the doctor had a CT scan which came back normal with mild concussion. I still feel headaches and dizziness.
