TRANSPLANT CRITERIA: TRANSPLANT CRITERIA HSV2 is not a contraindication to transplant . If she gets it she will likely need long term prophylactic therapy with famvir or valtrex (valacyclovir). You also should be screened to check your HSV2&1 status
