Certainly: Depending on your insurance coverage & their approval process you may end up paying for it out of pocket. However, it is a common procedure in pregnancy and the doc or his/her staff may be able to get one through the approval process. Normal ultrasounds do not guarantee that everything is okay, but they can spot some issues before they would become symptomatic.
