Menorrhagia: to be having a period for 9 days is quite a long time and might qualify for an episode of menorrhagia which can be prevented by taking tranexamic acid or birth control pills. That being said, it sounds like your period is coming to an end which is a good thing. If this continues to be a problem then consider talking to your doctor about those solutions. Good luck.
