Yes!: Whenever you choose to start (quick start) oral contraceptive pills (birth control pills), it will take 7 days before the levels reach those high enough to ensure effective suppression of ovulation and prevention of sperm passage. Prior to having sex without condoms, you should make sure that you're both free of STD; consider getting tested. Make sure she takes her pill everyday.
