Stool : I would not use a enema if the stool is already soft. Multiple uses of enemas can cause the rectal tone of the muscle to be loose, stretch, worse prolapse, and make you prone to fecal incontinence - in which you will have rectal discharge uncontrollable. I would recommend you just use baby wipes for any retained stool just to keep hygienically clean.

Add fiber: to your diet: Metamucil, granola, cereals ( bran, oatmeal) plus 8-10 glasses of fluid/day. If this is a daily issues I would recommend 2-3 days therapy with an osmotic laxative like Miralax (polyethylene glycol) and consult with a gastroenterologist.
