Started metoprolol 25mg for b/p and palps 2 months ago was increase to 50 mg 2weeks ago b/p 124/80 but now having flutters on and off is that normal?

No not Normal: No it is not normal and you should follow up with your Doctor or Cardiologist

Flutters: Nice to hear the bp has normalized on the drug. Let your doctor know about the flutters and he'll advise you whether any more steps are needed. They aren't necessarily a big deal, but there isn't enough information here to advise you other than to notify your doctor and follow through with the doc.
