Hi Joseph: Although I'm not a medical Dr, Here's an answer from Dr Thomas P Connelly, DDS online : "Can I get HIV from sharing a toothbrush or similar?" (Although Herpes) can B transmitted that way, everything I have found on HIV suggests it's NOT transferred via saliva (5). So rest easy, unless blood was involved, it's not likely you will get HIV from sharing such, but w' chapped, bleeding lips take caution
