It depends: It seems you have submucosal uterine fibroid and your doctor recommends to do hysteroscopy and resection of the fibroid. If you desires to get pregnant , it is good idea to remove the fibroid before conceive. If fertility is not a issue, and you don't have symptoms of heavy period, then surgery may not be necessary at this time.
