A member asked:

Out of the blue i grew taller in my 30s; nobody knows why. someone said poss hypersecretion of pituitary hormones. what condition could cause that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Growth after: 30 years of age is likely due to unusual delay in the fusion of growth plates. Hyper secretion of growth hormone after fusion will result in Acromegaly rather than growth in height. Further their will be other accompanying symptoms. See your Endocrinologist or Internist for further testing.
