No but maybe go..: Odds are it is not serious but if a person suddenly begins developing new headaches after the age of 30, typically would do an MRI or CT scan of the brain, and certainly if it is the worst headache in the person's life.

See a neurologist: More info is needed. Did you have spinal tap recently? Do you have very long standing history of headaches or 1st. time stared recently. Neuro examination is needed to decide if it is serious or not
