Tell your doctor: Blood is irritating to the central nervous system. Your body has set off an inflammatory cascade in response to the introduced blood, meant to seal the hole in the dura which is causing your headaches. If you were given a healthy dose of blood during the procedures, it can sometimes make you ill. It takes the body time to heal the hole (as long as 12 weeks) so symptoms may regress slowly.
