Mucinex (guaifenesin) and prometha: i do not know of any serious side effects with those two medications. I think you can take them now without any issues. You may want to check the cough syrup to see what medicine it has to help clear the mucous. Good luck and feel better!

YES: Mucinex (guaifenesin) has dextromethorphan (anti-cough) and Gualfenesin (anti-mucous) neither will interract with the promethazine! Hope this helps Dr Z
