Why?: If your Family Doc diagnosed you w/hypothyroidism and prescribed Levothyroxine, then you shouldn't need anything else, assuming that 100mcg is right dose for you. Only way to find out is to check your TSH every 6wks or so until you get several values in same range. If you still suffer from hypothyroidism despite 100mcg, tell your doc and get higher dose, not iodine supplement.
