Need more info: The chances are that you were dreaming. Alcohol may play a part in this also. I would advise you to consult with your family physician and have a physical exam.

Nap. : At that moment, different parts of your brain could have been at different levels of awareness - like being awake and asleep at the same time. In a sense, you may have been starting to wake up but your whole brain hadn't "turned on" yet. Doesn't necessarily indicate there's something wrong, but see if this becomes a pattern. If so, see doc.
