A member asked:

How accurate is a first response pregnancy test at 2 weeks late for a period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Accurate: If you did the test correctly at two weeks after a missed period and it was negative, you are very unlikely to be pregnant. You may repeat the test in 3-4 days. (your profile says you are a 19 year male) Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
