A member asked:

Could an ekg always tell if a person has heart disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Ecgs are extremely useful, when correctly read, in suspecting or diagnosing a variety of heart diseases. They can also be falsely normal (false negative) or falsely abnormal (false positive). The inventor was awarded the nobel prize in medicine!
