My husband having this same issue. i looked into his belly button with a light. it is pussy, red, a little bloody, very sore, & an ulcer maybe too.

See a doctor: there is a need to see a doctor ASAP the area could be infected. the area could have a serious hernia. the area could have abnormal connection to the bladder and creating these reactions. it could be a fistula. the list could grow longer ,my advise go and see your doctor.

Infection: You saw puss in his Belly Button,it is red,little bloody and sore This sugest that he has infection in his Umblicus(Belly Button) He should be seen by your Doctor asap o be examined and culture taken and Belly Button cleaned and appropriate Antibiotics started
